
The two-day training attracted over 100 SMEs from the Western, Eastern, Northern, and
Central regions of Uganda. The sessions were conducted through a physical, face-to-face
approach to ensure interactive engagement and hands-on learning. The training was
facilitated by three facilitators from INFO-CODE, each focusing on a specific thematic area:
- Business Planning
o Understanding the components of a Business Plan
o Market analysis and competitive positioning
o Financial planning and forecasting
o Case studies and group exercises
- Risk Management
o Identifying business risks (internal and external)
o Developing risk mitigation strategies
o Crisis management and continuity planning - Digital Skills for Business Growth
o Digital marketing strategies (social media, Email Marketing)
o E-commerce platforms and online payment systems

Challenges Encountered
